Learn More About Project LIFT |
Project LIFT focuses on building capacity at the State and school levels to promote and improve early literacy achievement in the FSM using a multi-tiered instructional framework - also known as Response to Intervention (RtI) or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Key characteristics of this model include regular screening and progress monitoring of all students, regular RtI team meetings using data to make instructional decisions for students, improved core reading instruction, differentiated instruction for reading and language development based on student needs, and strong instructional leadership. Literacy coaches are assigned to each school and play a pivotal role in Project LIFT success. To learn more about our accomplishments to date, check out our "Infographic" below!
